All Structures
Interior walls must use Blu Wood for framing. This is to reduce the chance of mold, and pests. Interior walls can use fiber glass insulation if that is the wish of the owner, but the exterior wall must have sufficient insulation. VOC will be illegal in Kaldus, so no drywall board, nor paints will have VOCs. In addition, lead for painting or water lines will be illegal and must be removed immediately when discovered.
Any set of steps where there are 3 or more steps, there must be a railing to allow for support of the climber. No step can be higher 17.75cm. Any building of 5 or more floors must have an elevator. Any down elevator must be repaired as immediately as possible. Commercial spaces may also allow for escalators.
All roofs of new structures must have flat roofs for solar panel installation. All panels must use a sun-tracking system
Commercial
All new construction must use rebar reinforced concrete or steel. There must be an R-Vale of 25 throughout the building. In buildings where privacy is an issue, then one way glass must be installed. The see-through side must be on the interior, and mirror side on the exterior. There must be sufficient electrical outlets for the purpose of the space. There will also be interior walls that can be renovated easier for when the needs of the space changes. All businesses within a premise must have a unique address, and a communications closet. When a closet is too small, then there must be a sufficient size communications room.
Proper heating, and cooling will be required. This does not matter the space being used. When an extreme temperature is necessary (such a freezer locker), then there must be a statement on the door describing the interior temperature of the space.
Ceiling lamps will need to provide efficient lighting based on the space. All light bulbs will be LED, or fluorescent tube. There is a limit of 8 fixture per run, so there might be a need for multiple light switches. In the event of lavatories, toilet stalls must be able to provide for privacy. Urinals does not require full privacy, but there will be a small wall in between of the stalls to reduce the chance of curious looking and making the other person feel uncomfortable.
Residential
Residential can be brick, rebar reinforced concrete, Structure Insulated Panels, or Wood. When using wood, the structural frame must use Blu Wood. Exterior walls will be spray foam insulation up to an R-Value of 20. Bedrooms must have one way glass. This is intended to provide for privacy, and reduce the chance of stalking. All windows must be triple pane windows with argon glass.
For every 3 bedrooms, there must be a minimum of 1 bathroom. Therefore, if there are 4 bedrooms, the home must have 2 bathrooms. The toilets, bathtubs, and shower stalls all must have hand rails to allow for safe use even in elder age. Toilets must also have a toilet paper roll holder within the wall. All bathrooms must have mold resistant drywall. Floors must be heated at the choice of the user. All bathrooms must have shelving for bathroom resources (such as soap toilet paper). Lavatories just require 2 toilet paper rollers, and sufficient soap.
