Trash

KPW will handle all of the recycling systems. For regular trash, the community will have pneumatic receptacles that would look similar to trash cans, but will send the trash directly to the destination without garbage trucks coming, or bags wasted. This could include anything from rotten food to packaging that is somehow not recyclable. For recycling bags, KPW will charge a nominal fee which will be the cost of the bags, operating, and 5% of the cost will go to the store where you bought the bags from. It will be illegal to stuff non recyclable trash in the blue recycling bags. On a particular day, KPW will be required to collect the bags, and take them to the recycling center. The goal is to have 95%+ recyclable trash. If there are electronics such as computers, or televisions that no longer work, the owner must do the responsible thing, and take them to a recycling center. There will be a charge to collect these items since they require special attention, but if the household is low income, they can call National Charity Services for assistance in paying these fees.
